LEXINGTON — William C. “Bill” Kincaid, 70, rural Lexington, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday (Nov. 5, 2012) at his home.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the family home. Interment will be private. His visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington. Please dress casually.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Cancer Center or Advocate Hospice.
Bill was born Dec. 6, 1941, in Bloomington, the son of Lloyd William and Bertie Marie Nogier Kincaid. He married M. Elaine Miller on July 3, 1971, in Bloomington. She survives.

He is also survived by a son, Guy Katthoefer, Lexington; two grandsons, Cameron Pickett and Vincent Katthoefer; one brother, John (Betty) Kincaid, Fort Atkinson, Wis.; one sister, Barb (Lee) Menken, Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Phyllis Kincaid; and his daughter, Rebecca Pickett.

Bill graduated from Bloomington High School in 1960. He was in machine repair for Eureka-Williams Co. for 40 years and was a member of Machinist’s Local 1000. Bill also enjoyed farming for his family and friends. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the National Rifle Association, Pheasants Forever and the McLean County Farm Bureau.
