BLOOMINGTON - Charles "Bob" Gray, 76, of Davenport, Fla., died Friday (Oct. 5, 2018) at his home.
Bob was born Feb. 18, 1942, and grew up in Bloomington. He worked for State Farm Insurance for 31 years before retiring in 1997. Upon his retirement, he and his wife, Cheryl, moved to Florida.
For the past 20-plus years Bob enjoyed living in Florida with his loving wife, Cheryl. They enjoyed golfing together, and going on many cruises around the world. Bob was also a U.S. Air Force veteran, of which he was very proud.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of 56 years; one brother, Richard Gray; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Oct. 9 at High Fiesta at RidgeWood Lakes Country Club, Davenport, Fla. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Hope Presbyterian Church, Winter Haven, Fla.
