BLOOMINGTON - God called home one of his angels, Shirley Bates of Bloomington, on Thursday (Aug. 30, 2018). A woman of service with Eureka Williams for 36 years, Cedar Lake Fellowship for 28 years, Walmart, Promises, and Chuck's Harley Davidson for 14 years.
She passed with her children, Corlina and Donny; granddaughters, Crystal and Melissa; brothers Dick and Frankie; family friends and cousins, Sally, Scott, Amy, George, Debbie, Lois, Nancy, Gary and numerous others, by her side. Life is a beautiful ride. Mom joins her father, mother, and sister in heaven. Know she passed in peace, riding free of cancer.
A celebration for her life will be held at a later date so everyone can attend. Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
