Janice Kay Kaiser, 27, Waubee Lake, Milford, Ind., daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Carl Frautschi, 914 Mercer, died at 2:50 a.m. Saturday at Mennonite Hospital. She had been ill two years and entered the hospital Friday.

Mrs. Kaiser became ill while visiting her parents. She had come to Bloomington to attend the wedding of her brother, William C., to Deanna Yuriece today. The wedding has been postponed.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Apostolic Christian Church in Milford. Burial will be in Milford.

Visitation will be Monday the Mishler Funeral Home in Milford.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, Oct. 11, 1942, she was a daughter of Carl and Ann Frautschi. She moved with her family to Bloomington in 1954 and graduated from Bloomington High School in 1960. Her family owns Sorg’s Jewelers, 106 W. Washington. She was married to Steven Kaiser of Milford June 18, 1967.

She attended the University of Toledo and graduated from Illinois State University with a master’s degree in specialized reading. She taught two years in the Downs elementary school system and at the Harford Junior College, Bel Air, Md., while her husband was with the armed forces in Aberdeen, Md.

Surviving are her parents and her brother.

Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home for the Handicapped at Morton.

Jan and I always had alot of fun "getting into trouble" together. Ha. The ONLY time I ever skipped school was one day after we had spent the night together at her house and got up the next morning and decided to just not go to school. Of course we got caught and payed dearly for this from our parents.
