Announcement that planning for our 2020 "60th Reunion" has begun. Click here for the latest information on the Reunion.

Also as a part of that planning, the class has concluded that we should begin a fund raising campaign for BHS by the Class of 1960, with the Arts and Music programs being the focus. The project has been titled "60 for 60" with a suggested donation of $60. Click here for the history on how this program began and details of how to make this donation.

In addition, Zona reported on a May 16, 2019 luncheon. "This luncheon came about due to classmates returning from their winter homes or here visiting family and friends and heading back to Florida the next day. For some positive news, Zona received a note with a picture of Doris Alvis Moran, Cheryl Peterson McKinley and Shirley Ammerman Carnine. Shirley was visiting Doris and they decided to go see Cheryl. The three of them were BHS’ drum majorettes. This has been posted in "Recent pictures of classmates".

Zona sent the following note today: "Hello class, I’m sorry to announce Ann Rush Van Hook passed away suddenly May 1, 2019. It was the family wish that there be no obituary or funeral. Ann was cremated. She leaves behind her husband Fred of 50+years, their daughter Rita, their son Bill, and 4 grandchildren." Since there will be no obituary, I have placed this info and her pictures in the Obituary section of our website. Sadly, I had received, but not yet posted, pictures from recent visits between Verma Rediger Gummerman and Ann. These have been posted in "Recent pictures of classmates".

In addition, there was a small lunch in Bloomington in February (no pictures) and a breakfast in April (click for picture).

Zona sent the following note: "Jill Munro notified me today that Thomas Williams passed away 1/2/19. Tom lived in Florida. According to his sister, there will be no obituary and I don’t think there is going to be a funeral. Our class keeps getting smaller and smaller. Zona" The note and picture have been posted.
